Beat the Heat....It's Cool to Play Music All Summer Long!

Looking for the perfect summer camp to get your kids (of all ages) involved in to make the summer a fun and productive experience? Well, Danny Ray's Music has the group classes and programs that will make 2010 a summer to remember. We offer a variety of classes that will meet the needs of your budding musicians regardless of their current playing level. The only requirement is to have fun learning and playing music. Classes will fill up fast, so don't delay. Listed below are the classes, dates and costs so you can choose the right option for you.

PLAY MUSIC LIVE!

A 5-week fully supervised opportunity for music students to learn the ins and outs of life in a band.  Band members will select performance materials, the order for the set’s performance.  In addition to practicing music, members will learn how to promote their concert, load/unload gear from the stage, and create the band’s “image”.  The session will culminate in a live performance and a recorded CD.

Sessions will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm weekdays.  Day of week will be set based on your availability and band groupings by age, musical ability and musical interests.

BACH TO ROCK

A 3-week class for aspiring musicians to explore the elements of music while experiencing music history.  Students will enjoy exploring music theory and music history with a live performance of an Oratorio at the end of the session.  Currently enrolled beginning students are welcome as a review of basic theory is included.

MUSIC, MOZART, AND ME

A 4- week class for beginners to join us for a celebration of music exploration.  This class will provide an introduction to basic music theory and basic piano keyboarding skills while exploring a portion of music history in a group setting .  This class is designed for the young beginner with a group performance at the end of the session.
